Where We Work — Six Counties, One Local Company
Imel Pest Control’s corporate office has been based at 430 S. Prairie Street in Bethalto since 1967. From that one shop, our service area routes cover six Illinois counties in the Metro East and the river counties north of it. We’re not a franchise dispatching from a call center two states away. Most addresses, in our service area, can be scheduled within a few business days if not the same day. Odds are we’ve treated homes on your street before.
Three local service area lines, depending on where you are:
- Alton–Riverbend area: (618) 377-9839
- Edwardsville–Glen Carbon area: (618) 692-9849
- Jerseyville area: (618) 498-5990
Madison County
Edwardsville, Alton, Collinsville, Granite City, Glen Carbon, Godfrey, Bethalto (our hometown), Wood River, East Alton, Roxana, South Roxana, Hartford, Cottage Hills, Meadowbrook, Fosterburg, Moro, Dorsey, Prairietown, Holiday Shores, Worden, Hamel, Alhambra, Carpenter, Marine, Livingston, Maryville, Troy, St. Jacob, Highland, Pontoon Beach, and the surrounding townships.
Madison County and our service area spans everything from the Mississippi floodplain (Granite City, Hartford, Pontoon Beach — heavy rodent and moisture-pest pressure) to the wooded uplands around Edwardsville and Holiday Shores (carpenter ants, termites, spiders). Our techs adjust treatment plans by terrain, not just by pest.
St. Clair County
Belleville, O’Fallon, Fairview Heights, Caseyville, Centreville, and neighboring communities along the I-64 and Route 159 corridors.
St. Clair County work splits between Belleville’s huge historic housing stock and the newer subdivisions of O’Fallon and 100’s of commercial storefronts — two completely different pest profiles, both on our routes weekly.
Jersey County
Jerseyville, Grafton, Elsah, Dow, Fieldon, and the river communities along the Great River Road.
Call our Jerseyville service area line: (618) 498-5990.
River-bluff and rural properties here mean wildlife-driven rodent pressure, carpenter bees on outbuildings, and seasonal moisture pests near the river.
Macoupin County
Carlinville, Gillespie, Benld, Bunker Hill, Staunton, Shipman, Medora, and surrounding farm communities.
Farm-adjacent homes see the fall field-mouse migration harder than anywhere else we serve. Ask about pre-harvest exclusion service.
Greene County
Carrollton, Greenfield, Kane, and nearby communities.
Greene County is farm country through and through — and the older homes around Carrollton’s courthouse square and in Greenfield and Kane have the classic rural pest pattern: field mice moving into houses and outbuildings every fall after harvest, wasps and carpenter bees on barns and machine sheds, and termite pressure in century-old wood-frame homes that may never have had a professional inspection. Grain storage on or near a property raises rodent pressure year-round — tell us what’s on the farm when you call and we’ll treat the whole operation, not just the house.
Bond County
Greenville, Pocahontas, and surrounding areas.
Bond County calls center on Greenville — a mix of older homes near the square and university area and newer builds toward the lake — plus rural properties along the I-70 corridor near Pocahontas. Homes near Governor Bond Lake and the creeks that feed it see heavier seasonal moisture-pest and mosquito pressure, and the county’s farm edges bring the same fall mouse migration as the rest of our rural routes.
Don't see your town?
If you’re within driving distance of Bethalto, call anyway — the list above is our regular service area route, not a hard boundary.
